Use Regulax Picosulfate drops are used for constipation or conditions requiring easier defecation. Like other laxatives, Regulax Picosulfate drops should not be taken daily or for a long time without establishing the cause of constipation. How to take Regulax Picosulfate drops are taken orally once a day, preferably in the evening. Typically, the laxative effect occurs after 10-12 hours. Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age are prescribed 14-27 drops (corresponding to 5-10 mg of sodium picosulfate). Children aged 4 years and older (only as prescribed by a doctor) - 7-14 drops (corresponding to 2.5-5 mg of sodium picosulfate). The maximum daily dose, which is 27 drops for adults or 14 drops for children aged 4 years and older, must not be exceeded. Contraindications Hypersensitivity to the active substance, other triarylmethanes, or other components of the drug. Intestinal obstruction or acute abdominal disease. The drug contains sorbitol, therefore, patients with hereditary fructose intolerance should not use it. Regulax Picosulfate drops are contraindicated for children under 4 years of age.
