Use Levomekol ointment is used for the treatment of infected wounds (including cuts and abrasions) of various locations, including those infected with mixed microflora, in the first phase of the wound process. Contraindications The drug is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to its components. Also, Levomekol is not recommended for use in children under 1 year of age, as the biotransformation of chloramphenicol occurs more slowly in newborns than in adults. Storage The drug should be stored out of reach of children at a temperature not exceeding 25degreeC. The shelf life is 3 years and 6 months.
