Use: Termikon cream 1% is intended for the prevention and treatment of fungal skin infections, including athlete's foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (tinea cruris), fungal lesions of smooth skin (tinea corporis) caused by dermatophytes. It is also used for yeast infections of the skin (mainly caused by Candida albicans), in particular, diaper rash, and for pityriasis versicolor (Pityriasis versicolor), caused by Pityrosporum orbiculare. How to take: Termikon cream is for external use only. A reduction in the severity of clinical manifestations is usually observed in the first days of treatment. In case of irregular treatment or premature discontinuation, there is a risk of infection recurrence. Avoid contact of the cream with eyes, as it may cause irritation. In case of accidental contact of the drug with eyes, they should be immediately rinsed with running water, and if persistent irritation develops, it is necessary to consult a doctor. Short treatment courses lasting 1 week are possible. The dosage regimen for elderly patients is the same as for patients of other age groups. The detailed dosage regimen is specified in the drug's instructions for use. Contraindications: The main contraindication to the use of Termikon cream is hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. The drug should be used with caution in renal and/or hepatic insufficiency, alcoholism, bone marrow hematopoiesis depression, tumors, metabolic diseases, occlusive vascular diseases of the extremities, as well as in children under 12 years of age (due to lack of sufficient clinical experience). Storage: Store at a temperature not higher than 30 degreeC. Keep out of reach of children. The shelf life of the drug is 3 years. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
