Use Urorec caps 8mg x 30 is used for the symptomatic treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). How to take The recommended dose is 8 mg once daily, taken with food, preferably at the same time each day. The capsule should be swallowed whole, without chewing or crushing, with a glass of water. For patients with moderate renal impairment (creatinine clearance from ≥30 to <50 ml/min), it is recommended to start with a dose of 4 mg per day for the first week, after which the dose may be increased to 8 mg per day if well tolerated individually. Contraindications - Severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance less than 30 ml/min). - Severe hepatic impairment. - Children and adolescents under 18 years of age. - Hypersensitivity to silodosin. - Not recommended for patients with a history of orthostatic hypotension. - Concomitant use with potent inhibitors of CYP3A4 isoenzymes (e.g., ketoconazole, itraconazole, ritonavir, or cyclosporine) is not recommended. - Concomitant use of other alfa-adrenoceptor antagonists is not recommended.
