Puroxan tablets 400mg №20

Use (Indications): Puroxan is used for the treatment of broncho-obstructive syndrome in bronchial asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). How to take (Method of administration and dosage): - Adults: It is recommended to take 20 ml of syrup, which is equivalent to 2 measuring caps (400 mg of Doxofylline), twice a day. - Elderly persons: It is recommended to take 10 ml of syrup, which is equivalent to 1 measuring spoon (200 mg of Doxofylline), twice a day. - Children: The recommended daily dose of Doxofylline for children is 12 mg/kg, divided into two doses. In the absence of a satisfactory response to treatment, the dose may be increased to 18 mg/kg per day under medical supervision. - The duration of treatment is determined by the physician individually, depending on the patient's condition and the course of the disease. Contraindications: - Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug or to other xanthines. - Acute myocardial infarction. - Low arterial pressure. - Lactation period. - Children under 3 years of age.
