Use Rosehip oil is used as an anti-scarring agent for all types of scars: hypertrophic, hyperchromic, keloid, as well as for old scars. It helps with skin irritations caused by friction. It is also used to treat dry eczema. Rosehip oil is most effective for use under the eyes and around the mouth area. How to take - For the treatment of dry eczema, it is recommended to add 5 drops of lavender oil to 10 ml of rosehip oil. - Apply a small amount of oil to the required area or use it mixed with a base oil for massage. - For scars and stretch marks, massage twice a day is recommended; initial results may appear after 4 weeks, and significant improvements after 3-6 months. - To reduce scars, rosehip oil is recommended to be used in a mixture with argan oil, tamanu oil, gotu kola oil extract, and immortelle essential oil. - The oil can be used undiluted, but it is more often used in mixtures as an additive, not more than 10%. - It mixes well with nut base oils, for example, hazelnut oil, and this mixture can be used as a base. Contraindications - It is not recommended to use rosehip oil undiluted on oily skin and skin prone to acne, as it may provoke an increase in breakouts. - When treating scars, rosehip oil should preferably be applied after the wound has healed; it is not recommended to apply it to open wounds.
