Use: Loperamide is used for the symptomatic treatment of acute and chronic diarrhea of various origins (allergic, emotional, medicinal, radiation; when changing diet and food quality, with metabolic and absorption disorders). It is also used as an auxiliary medicinal product for infectious diarrhea and for regulating stool in patients with ileostomy. How to take: If there is no effect after 2 days of using Loperamide, it is necessary to consult a doctor. If constipation or abdominal bloating develops during treatment, loperamide should be discontinued. During the treatment of diarrhea, it is necessary to replenish fluid and electrolyte loss. Contraindications: Loperamide is contraindicated during pregnancy (especially in the first trimester), during breastfeeding, and for children. It should be used with caution in patients with impaired liver function.
