Use Calcium D3-Denk effervescent tablets 1000 mg/880 IU are used for the supportive treatment of osteoporosis, as well as to compensate for simultaneous calcium and vitamin D deficiency in the elderly. It is also used for the prevention and treatment of calcium and vitamin D deficiency. How to take Always take this medicine exactly as described in the leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. The recommended dose is one effervescent tablet per day. The effervescent tablet should be dissolved in a glass of drinking water (200 ml) and the entire contents of the glass should be drunk. Treatment for calcium deficiency and osteoporosis is usually long-term. The duration of use of the drug should be clarified with your doctor. The drug can be taken with or between meals. Contraindications Calcium D3-Denk should not be taken if you are allergic to calcium, vitamin D or any other component of this medicine. Contraindications also include too high calcium levels in the blood (hypercalcemia), too high calcium excretion in the urine (hypercalciuria), severe kidney problems, kidney stones, or too high vitamin D levels in the blood (hypervitaminosis D).
