Use Alzepil is used in adults aged 18 years and older for the symptomatic treatment of mild, moderate, and severe Alzheimer's type dementia. How to take Alzepil is taken orally, once daily, in the evening, before bed, regardless of food intake. The initial dose is 5 mg once daily. Treatment continues for at least 4-6 weeks to achieve steady-state donepezil concentrations and determine the early clinical effect of therapy. After 1 month, if necessary, the dose can be increased to 10 mg once daily. The maximum recommended daily dose is 10 mg. Maintenance therapy can be continued as long as the therapeutic effect persists, which should be regularly evaluated. Contraindications Do not take Alzepil: - if you are allergic to donepezil, piperidine derivatives, or any other components of the drug. - if you are under 18 years of age (due to lack of clinical data). - during pregnancy. - during lactation (breastfeeding).
