Euthyrox tab 50mcg №100

Use: Euthyrox is used for the treatment of benign euthyroid goiter, as replacement therapy for hypothyroidism, for the prevention of goiter recurrence after thyroidectomy, and as suppressive therapy for thyroid cancer. The drug is also used as part of combined therapy with antithyroid drugs for hyperthyroidism and as a diagnostic agent for performing a thyroid suppression test. - How to take: The daily dose of Euthyrox is determined individually depending on the indications. The drug is taken orally in the morning on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before a meal. The tablet should be swallowed with a small amount of liquid (half a glass of water) and not chewed. - Contraindications: Euthyrox is contraindicated in cases of: - increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug; - untreated thyrotoxicosis; - untreated pituitary insufficiency; - untreated adrenal insufficiency. Treatment should not be started in acute myocardial infarction, acute myocarditis, acute pancarditis. Also contraindicated during pregnancy in combination with antithyroid agents. It is not recommended for patients with rare hereditary diseases associated with galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome, due to the presence of lactose in the drug.
