Use: Peppermint leaves are a herbal remedy that has moderate sedative, antianginal, carminative, antihypoxic, choleretic, antiseptic, analgesic, and antiemetic effects. Medicinal properties are primarily due to the components of the essential oil, the main one being menthol. Peppermint preparations are used orally, topically in the form of rinses, washes, inhalations, and externally. Expectorant, mucolytic, and moderate antihypoxic effects are maintained when inhaling peppermint oil. How to take: Take orally 2-3 times a day 15 minutes before meals. Dosage depends on age: children aged 3 to 6 years take 1 dessert spoon, children aged 7 to 14 years - 1-2 tablespoons, children over 14 years and adults - 1/2-1/3 glass. The infusion is recommended to be shaken before use. The dose, frequency of use, and duration of treatment are determined individually, depending on the indications and the dosage form used. Contraindications: Contraindications include early childhood (up to 3 years) and hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation.
