The drug is also used to prepare the patient for bronchoscopy or bronchography. How to take The drug is taken orally. A measuring cup with divisions is included in the package for convenient dosing. Adults are recommended to take 15 ml of syrup (which corresponds to 1.35 g of active substance) 2-3 times a day. The duration of the course of treatment is determined by the doctor and can range from 4 days to 6 months. This dosage remains the same for patients with impaired liver and kidney function, as well as for patients suffering from diabetes mellitus. Contraindications - Hypersensitivity to carbocisteine or other components of the drug. - Peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum in the acute stage. - Chronic glomerulonephritis (in the acute stage), cystitis. - Pregnancy (I trimester). - Breastfeeding period. - Children under 2 years of age.
