Use Kaffetin Cold is used for the symptomatic treatment of ''cold'' diseases. Paracetamol in the preparation has analgesic and antipyretic effects, blocking cyclooxygenase in the central nervous system and affecting pain and thermoregulation centers. Pseudoephedrine helps narrow the blood vessels of the nasal and pharyngeal mucosa, reducing swelling and facilitating nasal breathing. Dextromethorphan acts on the cough center, increasing the cough threshold and reducing dry cough associated with irritation of the nasopharyngeal mucosa. Ascorbic acid replenishes vitamin C deficiency in ''cold'' diseases. How to take The recommended dose of Kaffetin Cold for adults and children over 12 years of age is one tablet 4 times a day. It is permissible to take 2 tablets at once. The interval between doses should be at least 4 hours. The maximum single dose is 2 tablets, and the maximum daily dose is 8 tablets (2 tablets 4 times within 24 hours). If fever persists for more than 3 days from the start of treatment, and cough for more than 5 days, a doctor should be consulted.
