Use: GUM Ortho Dental Floss (3220) 50m is specifically designed for individuals using orthodontic appliances, bridges, or who have wide interdental spaces. It ensures cleaning between braces, bridges, and in wide interdental spaces. The floss helps remove dental plaque and food debris that get stuck in braces and other hard-to-reach areas where a toothbrush cannot reach. Using floss helps prevent the formation of dental plaque, cavities, and gingivitis. How to take: GUM Ortho Dental Floss features a built-in stiff plastic edge or stiff end that acts as a ''threader'' for easy insertion of the floss under orthodontic appliances or wires. The floss expands during use for more effective cleaning. General instructions for use: - Pull out the floss until the green threader appears. - If the floss is pulled past the green threader, turn the wheel counter-clockwise. - Cut the floss in the middle of the green threader. Alternative instructions: - Cut a piece of floss from the dispenser. - Thread the floss through the built-in threader. - Gently guide the threader under the orthodontic appliance. - Carefully clean the spaces between teeth and around the appliance with the floss. - Rinse your mouth and repeat daily for optimal oral hygiene. It can also be used as follows: Take approximately 15-20 cm of dental floss and wrap its ends around the middle fingers of each hand. With the thumbs and index fingers of each hand, hold a piece of floss about 2.5-5 cm apart and use your thumb to insert it between the upper teeth. Firmly holding the floss (2.5-5 cm) between your fingers, use your index finger to insert the floss between the contact surfaces of the two lower teeth. Contraindications: Do not swallow the floss.
