Use: The elastic medical compression bandage ELAST 9512 is intended for the prevention, recovery, and treatment of varicose veins, as well as dislocations, sprains, swelling, and other traumatic complications. Depending on the degree of elasticity, the bandage is applied: - High elasticity: for the treatment of lipodermic diseases, in the postoperative period, for injuries, and incurable lymphedema. - Medium elasticity: for the treatment of serious venous lesions, diseases with trophic complications, post-phlebitic syndromes, and curable lymphedema. - Low elasticity: for fixing dressings. The bandage is also used in the pre- and postoperative periods for faster rehabilitation after injuries and operations, to prevent swelling and reduce inflammation, to prevent bruises and ligament damage, and to support soft tissues after liposuction. For preventive purposes, it is used to relieve overload and overexertion during physical activity, as well as to prevent sprains and injuries during sports. How to take (Application method): The width of the bandage should be chosen to be greater than or equal to the diameter of the body part being bandaged. Before bandaging the leg, it is recommended to lie down for 5-10 minutes with the legs raised, and keep the leg to be bandaged elevated. The bandage should be applied to the foot from the ankle to the base of the toes, then bandage the lower leg and thigh from bottom to top. Each turn of the bandage must overlap the previous turn by 50-70%. The greatest tension of the bandage should be in the ankle area, gradually decreasing towards the top of the leg. Contraindications: Individual intolerance to the raw material components of the product, as well as pronounced local skin diseases.
