Use: Diklon 12.5 mg suppositories are used to relieve pain of varying degrees and inflammatory processes in a wide range of pathological conditions. These include juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, as well as monotherapy or as an adjunct to morphine or other opiates for postoperative pain relief. How to take: Diklon suppositories should be inserted as deep as possible into the rectum, preferably after bowel evacuation. Suppositories should not be divided into parts, as changing the method of drug administration may disrupt the distribution of the active substance. Contraindications: Contraindications for the use of Diklon include hypersensitivity (including to other NSAIDs), complete or incomplete combination of bronchial asthma, recurrent nasal polyposis and paranasal sinuses, as well as intolerance to acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs (including history). Also contraindicated are erosive and ulcerative lesions of the gastric or duodenal mucosa, active gastrointestinal bleeding, inflammatory bowel diseases (ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease) in the acute phase. Other contraindications include the period after coronary artery bypass grafting, severe cardiac, hepatic or renal failure, hematopoietic disorders of unknown etiology, ''aspirin'' bronchial asthma, childhood (under 6 years of age) and the last trimester of pregnancy.
