How to take Using Accu-Chek Active test strips requires no prior setup - simply insert the test strip into the glucometer. The glucometer will turn on and first perform a default display check. - Prick your finger with a lancet to get a drop of blood. - Carefully apply the blood drop to the green field of the test strip and remove your finger. A very small blood sample, only 1-2 microliters (ul), is required for analysis. The blood glucose level measurement result will appear on the glucometer screen. The test is completed in approximately 5 seconds. Accu-Chek Active test strips are specifically designed for use with the Accu-Chek Active glucometer; using them with incompatible glucometers may lead to inaccurate readings.
