Description Bifren improves brain blood circulation and metabolic processes, enhancing mental performance, memory, and concentration. It effectively reduces anxiety, fear, and emotional tension, and improves sleep quality without causing severe lethargy or drowsiness. Indications for UseAsthenic and anxiety-neurotic states: restlessness, fear, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive symptoms.Sleep disorders: insomnia and night terrors (especially common in elderly patients).Meniere's disease and vertigo related to vestibular system dysfunction.Prevention of motion sickness: preventing nausea during travel (sea and air sickness).Stress prevention: taken before surgical interventions or painful diagnostic procedures. Method of Administration and Dosage. How to take. The capsules should be taken orally before meals, swallowed with a sufficient amount of water. For adults. The standard dosage is 250–500 mg (1–2 capsules) 3 times a day. The maximum single dose is 750 mg. Duration of treatment: Usually lasts between 2 to 3 weeks. If necessary, a doctor may extend the course up to 4–6 weeks. For motion sickness: 250–500 mg taken as a single dose 1 hour before the expected trip. Contraindications. Hypersensitivity to phenibut or any auxiliary components of the drug. Acute renal (kidney) failure. Pregnancy and breastfeeding (lactation) period. With caution: patients with erosive or ulcerative gastrointestinal diseases (due to the acidic nature of phenibut, which can irritate the stomach lining).
