Use Rozulip Plus is indicated as an adjunct to diet in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia (including heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia). It is also prescribed as replacement therapy for patients whose lipid profile has been adequately controlled by concomitant use of separate rosuvastatin and ezetimibe preparations at doses equivalent to the corresponding doses in the fixed combination. The medication is used to lower levels of total cholesterol, ''bad'' cholesterol (LDL cholesterol), and fats (triglycerides) in the blood, and also to increase the level of ''good'' cholesterol (HDL cholesterol). Rozulip Plus is used in patients whose cholesterol levels cannot be lowered by diet alone. How to take Patients should adhere to an appropriate hypocholesterolemic diet during treatment with Rozulip Plus. The recommended daily dose is 1 capsule. The drug can be taken regardless of meal times. It is dispensed by prescription. Contraindications - Hypersensitivity to the active substances (rosuvastatin, ezetimibe) or to any of the excipients of the drug. - Active liver disease, including persistent elevation of serum transaminases of unknown etiology and any elevation of serum transaminases threefold or more above the upper limit of normal (ULN). - Severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance < 30 ml/min). - Myopathy. - Concomitant use of cyclosporine. - Children and adolescents under 18 years of age. - Pregnancy and lactation period. - Contraindicated in women of reproductive age who do not use effective methods of contraception.
