Use - Pentatrop gl. drops 1% - 5ml is used to provide mydriasis and cycloplegia during diagnostic procedures, such as ophthalmoscopy and refraction determination. - It is also used to dilate the pupil in inflammatory eye diseases, including uveitis, iritis, and iridocyclitis, as part of combination therapy. How to take - Adults (including elderly): It is recommended to instill 1-2 drops up to 4 times a day or as needed. - Children: Dosage is determined by a doctor. - The drug is not recommended for infants under 3 months of age due to a high risk of developing amblyopia and systemic toxicity. - After instillation, cycloplegia occurs quickly and is short-lived. Full recovery of accommodation usually occurs within 4 hours, in very rare cases - within 24 hours after instillation. - Mydriasis occurs very quickly; an average pupil diameter of about 7 mm is reached 15-30 minutes after instillation.
