It is also used to treat hypercalcemia caused by malignant tumors. How to take Zoledro - Denk 4 mg/5 ml should only be prescribed and administered by a physician experienced in intravenous bisphosphonate administration. - Prevention of complications associated with bone damage: The recommended dose of zoledronic acid for adult patients with advanced malignant neoplasms involving bone lesions is 4 mg every 3-4 weeks. Patients should also be prescribed oral calcium supplements at a dose of 500 mg/day and oral vitamin D at a dose of 400 IU/day. - Treatment of hypercalcemia caused by malignant tumors: A single dose of 4 mg of zoledronic acid is recommended.
