Use Prostamed is a herbal preparation used for functional urinary disorders associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia. It is also used for urination disorders in benign prostatic hyperplasia (adenoma) of stages I-II, including difficult and frequent urination (including at night), a feeling of incomplete bladder emptying, and urgent urges to urinate. The drug can be used as part of complex treatment for acute and chronic prostatitis. Traditionally, Prostamed is used to relieve lower urinary tract symptoms associated with benign prostate enlargement and irritable bladder syndrome (overactive bladder), after serious diseases have been ruled out by a doctor. How to take It is recommended to take 2-4 chewable tablets 3 times a day. Tablets should be chewed and swallowed with sufficient liquid, for example, a quarter liter of drinking water. The duration of the drug's use is determined by the doctor depending on the nature and course of the disease, but the recommended duration of treatment is at least 3 months (or 12 weeks), until complaints disappear. Contraindications Prostamed is contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It should be used with caution in case of kidney dysfunction. The drug is contraindicated for children.
