Use: Duodart is used in men for the treatment and prevention of the progression of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) with an enlarged prostate gland. It helps to reduce the size of the prostate gland, decrease the severity of disease symptoms, improve urination, and also reduce the risk of acute urinary retention and the need for surgical treatment. How to take: The recommended dose for adult men (including elderly patients) is 1 capsule once daily. Capsules should be swallowed whole, without chewing or opening, with water. It is recommended to take the drug approximately 30 minutes after the same meal each day. Contact of the content of the soft gelatin capsule containing dutasteride with the oral mucosa may cause inflammatory phenomena. Contraindications: - Hypersensitivity to dutasteride, tamsulosin, other 5alfa-reductase inhibitors, peanuts, soy, or any other component of the drug. - Severe hepatic insufficiency. - Orthostatic hypotension. - Women. - Children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
