Use Taflotan BK is used to reduce elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension. It can be used as monotherapy for patients who require preservative-free eye drops, as well as for those who have an insufficient response to first-line therapy, intolerance to these drugs, or contraindications to them. The drug is also used as adjunctive therapy to beta-blockers. Taflotan BK is indicated for adults over 18 years of age. How to take The recommended dose is one drop of Taflotan BK eye drops into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye(s) once daily, in the evening. The dose should be administered strictly once a day, as more frequent use may reduce the intraocular pressure-lowering effect. Contraindications The drug is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance tafluprost or to any of the excipients. Storage Store at a temperature of 2degreeC to 8degreeC. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children. The bottle should be stored in the cardboard box in a place protected from light.
