Use Metromicon-Forte is used for the local treatment of vaginal infections, such as: - Candidal vulvovaginitis caused by Candida albicans. - Bacterial vaginosis caused by anaerobic bacteria and Gardnerella vaginalis. - Trichomonal vulvovaginitis caused by Trichomonas vaginalis. - Mixed vaginal infections. How to take The drug is administered intravaginally. Insert one suppository deep into the vagina once a day, just before bedtime, for 7 days. Suppositories should be inserted while lying on your back. For recurrent vaginitis or vaginitis resistant to other types of treatment, it is recommended to extend the course of treatment to 14 days, one pessary once a day, before bedtime. Contraindications - Hypersensitivity to metronidazole, miconazole or other nitroimidazole derivatives, as well as to other components of the drug. - Leukopenia (including a history). - Organic lesions of the central nervous system (including epilepsy). - Porphyria. - Severe liver dysfunction (hepatic insufficiency). - First trimester of pregnancy. - Lactation period (breastfeeding). - Children under 18 years of age. - Virginity.
