Product Description Nifuromed susp. 220mg/5ml 100ml with banana flavor Use: Nifuromed suspension is used for the treatment of diarrhea caused by infection sensitive to the drug, as well as in the complex therapy of chronic colitis and enterocolitis. How to take: The drug is intended for oral administration. Before use, the bottle should be thoroughly shaken to obtain a homogeneous suspension. It is recommended to take the drug at regular intervals, regardless of food intake. The course of treatment is 5-7 days. Dosage: - Adults: 5 ml, 4 times a day. - Children from 2 to 6 months: 2.5 ml, 2 times a day. - Children from 6 months to 6 years: 5 ml, 3 times a day. - Children over 6 years: 5 ml, 4 times a day. When treating diarrhea, it is necessary to carry out rehydration therapy simultaneously with Nifuromed therapy (for adults - about 2 liters of fluid per day). The drug is used with strict adherence to a diet that excludes juices, raw vegetables and fruits, as well as spicy and hard-to-digest foods. Before prescribing the suspension to infants, it is necessary to exclude congenital deficiency of sucrose-splitting enzymes. Contraindications: The drug is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to any of its components, as well as in case of allergy to 5-nitrofuran derivatives.
