Use Floxaton is used for the treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to levofloxacin. These include: - ENT infections (acute bacterial sinusitis). - Lower respiratory tract infections (exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, community-acquired pneumonia). - Complicated skin and soft tissue infections (diabetic foot ulcer). - Complicated urinary tract infections (pyelonephritis). - Uncomplicated cystitis. - Chronic bacterial prostatitis. - Inhalational anthrax (post-exposure prophylaxis). How to take The drug should be taken only as prescribed by a doctor. - Floxaton is intended for oral administration. - The standard dosage for adults (18 years and older) is 500 mg (1 tablet) 1-2 times a day, regardless of food intake. - The dosage and duration of treatment may vary depending on the nature and severity of the infection, as well as the sensitivity of the pathogen. Contraindications Floxaton is contraindicated in the following cases: - Hypersensitivity to levofloxacin or other fluoroquinolones, as well as to other components of the drug. - Epilepsy. - Tendon lesions during fluoroquinolone treatment in anamnesis. - Children and adolescents (under 18 years of age). - Pregnancy and lactation period.
