Use: The drug Controloc is indicated for the following conditions: - Gastric and duodenal ulcers (in acute phase), erosive gastritis (including those associated with NSAID use). - Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. - Helicobacter pylori eradication in combination with antibacterial agents. How to take: Controloc tablets are taken orally, before meals, without chewing or crushing, with sufficient liquid. - Gastric and duodenal ulcers, erosive gastritis (including those associated with NSAID use): 40-80 mg per day. The course of treatment for acute duodenal ulcer is 2 weeks, for acute gastric ulcer and erosive gastritis - 4-8 weeks. - Helicobacter pylori eradication: The following combinations are recommended: 1. Pantoprazole 20-40 mg twice daily + amoxicillin 1000 mg twice daily + clarithromycin 500 mg twice daily. 2. Pantoprazole 20-40 mg twice daily + metronidazole 500 mg twice daily + clarithromycin 500 mg twice daily. 3. Pantoprazole 20-40 mg twice daily + amoxicillin 1000 mg twice daily + metronidazole 500 mg twice daily. The course of treatment is 7-14 days. - Zollinger-Ellison syndrome: For long-term treatment, start with a daily dose of 80 mg (2 Controloc tablets of 40 mg). Subsequently, if necessary, the dose can be increased or decreased, depending on gastric acid secretion levels. Doses above 80 mg per day should be divided and administered twice daily. Contraindications: - Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug, as well as to substituted benzimidazoles. - Neurotic dyspepsia. - Concomitant use with HIV protease inhibitors such as atazanavir and nelfinavir, whose absorption is pH-dependent. - Age under 18 years. - Pregnancy, breastfeeding period.
