Use: Creon 10000 is an enzyme preparation for improving digestion in adults and children. Used for exocrine pancreatic insufficiency caused by: - chronic pancreatitis, cystic fibrosis, Shwachman-Diamond syndrome - effects of acute pancreatitis, gastric resection, duct obstruction - pancreatic cancer, pancreatic surgeries, or gastrectomy. Also recommended for dietary errors, chewing disorders, sedentary lifestyle. How to take: Capsules are taken orally during or immediately after meals, swallowed whole, not chewed, with liquid. Dosage is individual. Sufficient fluid intake is essential. Maximum dose: 10000 lipase units/kg/day or 4000 lipase units/g fat. For children - as prescribed by a doctor. Contraindications: - Hypersensitivity to porcine pancreatin or components. - Early stages of acute pancreatitis.
