Use Fluoxetine, the active ingredient of Magrilan, is used in the following conditions: - Depressions of various origins. - Obsessive-compulsive disorders. - Bulimia nervosa. How to take The initial dose is 20 mg once a day, taken in the first half of the day. If necessary, the dose can be increased after 3-4 weeks. The frequency of administration can be 2-3 times a day. The maximum daily dose for adults when taken orally is 80 mg. Contraindications Fluoxetine is contraindicated in the following cases: - Pregnancy. - Lactation period (breastfeeding). - Concomitant administration of MAO inhibitors. - Hypersensitivity to fluoxetine. - Glaucoma. - Bladder atony. - Severe renal dysfunction. - Benign prostatic hyperplasia. - Convulsive syndrome of various origins. - Epilepsy. Used with caution in patients with impaired liver function.
