The drug is also effective in anxiety-depressive states, sleep disorders, and withdrawal syndrome in patients suffering from chronic alcoholism and dependence on benzodiazepine derivatives. It stabilizes emotional state, improves mood, reduces pathological craving for alcohol, and promotes the restoration of libido and potency. How to take The initial daily dose is 150-200 mg, divided into 3 doses. For mild forms of depression, the average maintenance dose is 150 mg/day. For moderate and severe forms of depression, the dose is 300 mg/day. If necessary, the dose can be increased to 600 mg/day. The main part of the daily dose is recommended to be taken before sleep. For elderly and debilitated patients, the initial dose is up to 100 mg/day in divided doses or once daily before sleep, with the possibility of increasing up to 300 mg/day under medical supervision. For children aged 6-18 years, the initial daily dose is 1.5-2 mg/kg/day, divided into several doses, with a gradual increase to 6 mg/kg/day if necessary. Contraindications Trittico is contraindicated in ventricular arrhythmia, tachycardia, myocardial infarction (early recovery period), priapism in history, pregnancy, lactation, and hypersensitivity to trazodone.
