Use Stimuloton is indicated for the treatment of the following disorders: - Major depressive episodes and their prevention. - Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) in adults and children over 6 years of age. - Panic disorder with or without agoraphobia. - Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). - Social phobia. How to take Stimuloton is taken orally, once a day. - For depression and OCD: The usual effective starting dose is 50 mg once daily. - For panic disorder, PTSD, and social phobia: Treatment should start with a dose of 25 mg/day. After one week, the dose can be increased to 50 mg once daily. - If necessary, the dose can be gradually increased up to 200 mg/day over several weeks. - The treatment effect appears 7 days after the start of administration, reaching a maximum after 2-3 weeks. - Tablets can be taken regardless of food intake. - Alcohol consumption should be avoided while taking the drug. - It is not recommended to drink Stimuloton with grapefruit juice, as this may increase sertraline levels in the body. Contraindications - Hypersensitivity to sertraline or any other component of the drug. - Children under 6 years of age (for the treatment of OCD); for all other indications, the drug is contraindicated in patients under 18 years of age. - Concomitant use of sertraline with irreversible monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) due to the risk of serotonin syndrome. Sertraline should not be started within 14 days after discontinuation of irreversible MAOIs, and sertraline therapy should be stopped 7 days before starting therapy with irreversible MAOIs. - Concomitant use of sertraline and pimozide. - Severe hepatic impairment.
