Use Floxadex is used for the treatment of eye and ear infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to ciprofloxacin. These include: - corneal ulcer - conjunctivitis - keratitis - keratoconjunctivitis (without epithelial damage) - iritis - iridocyclitis - blepharoconjunctivitis - blepharitis - episcleritis - scleritis - inflammatory processes after eye injuries and surgical interventions. In otolaryngology, it is used for middle ear infections (otitis, otorrhea developed after tympanostomy shunt placement). How to take In ophthalmology: - usually, 1-2 drops every 4 hours are prescribed - for severe infections, 2 drops every hour, with subsequent reduction of dose and frequency of instillations as the condition improves. In otolaryngology: - 4-5 drops into each ear canal 3 times a day. The course of treatment is 5-10 days. Contraindications Do not use Floxadex if you have: - allergy to ciprofloxacin, other quinolones, or any of the components of the drug - viral eye or ear infections - fungal eye infections - eye tuberculosis.
