Use Prestans is used in adults for the treatment of arterial hypertension and/or ischemic heart disease (IHD), particularly stable angina pectoris, in patients requiring perindopril and amlodipine therapy. How to take The drug is taken orally as a single dose once a day, preferably in the morning before meals. The dose of this combination is selected after prior titration of the individual components (perindopril and amlodipine) in patients with arterial hypertension and/or IHD. Prestans is not intended for initial therapy. Contraindications - Prestans is contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding. - It is also contraindicated for use in children. - The use of ACE inhibitors in combination with angiotensin II receptor antagonists is contraindicated in patients with diabetic nephropathy. - The drug should be used with caution in patients with impaired liver and kidney function, as well as in elderly patients. - Prestans is contraindicated in patients with creatinine clearance (CrCl) less than 60 ml/min. Storage The drug should be stored at a temperature of 2 to 25 degreeC.
