Use Prestance is indicated for the treatment of patients with essential hypertension and/or stable coronary artery disease (stable exertional angina) who require therapy with amlodipine and perindopril. How to take The recommended dose is 1 tablet per day, preferably in the morning, before food. Prestance is not intended for initial therapy. If necessary, the dose of the drug can be changed or the doses of individual components can be adjusted. Contraindications - Hypersensitivity to perindopril or other ACE inhibitors, to amlodipine or other dihydropyridine derivatives, or to any of the excipients. - Angioedema (Quincke's edema) in history (including against the background of taking other ACE inhibitors), hereditary/idiopathic angioedema. - Concomitant use with aliskiren in patients with diabetes mellitus and/or renal impairment (creatinine clearance < 60 ml/min). - Extracorporeal therapy leading to blood contact with negatively charged surfaces. - Concomitant use with valsartan + sacubitril. - Pregnancy and lactation. - Age under 18 years. - Elderly patients and patients with impaired renal function need to regularly monitor creatinine and potassium in blood plasma. Contraindicated if creatinine clearance < 60 ml/min. - In case of impaired liver function, the dose should be selected individually, amlodipine and perindopril in monotherapy.
