Milurit tablets 100mg №30

Use Milurit is used for hyperuricemia (all forms) and its complications: gout, urate nephropathy, kidney stones (dissolution and prevention). Indicated for recurrent mixed calcium oxalate crystals with hyperuricemia if diet/hydration ineffective. In children: malignant neoplasms (leukemias) and enzyme disorders (Lesch-Nyhan syndrome). How to take Orally, once daily after meals, with water. If dose >300 mg or GI reactions occur, divide the dose. Tablets have a score line. To reduce side effects, start with 100 mg once daily. For children under 15, dosage is individualized (10-20 mg/kg/day or 100-400 mg/day) under control of urate/uric acid levels. Contraindications Pregnancy (except critical cases), breastfeeding. Do not combine with azathioprine/6-mercaptopurine unless their dose is reduced (25%). Severe renal impairment. Use with caution in impaired renal/hepatic function (dose reduction), hypothyroidism. Contains 50 mg lactose, contraindicated in intolerance, lactase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome. Discontinue immediately if hypersensitivity (e.g., Stevens-Johnson syndrome) occurs.
