Amprilan tablets 5mg №30

Use: Amprilan is used to treat arterial hypertension. It is also indicated for chronic heart failure (as part of combination therapy), to reduce the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, or cardiovascular mortality in patients with high cardiovascular risk (including patients with confirmed coronary artery disease, history of myocardial infarction with or without it, those who have undergone percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty, coronary artery bypass grafting; patients with a history of stroke; patients with a history of occlusive peripheral artery disease). In addition, Amprilan is used to treat diabetic or non-diabetic nephropathy, including in the presence of severe proteinuria, especially in combination with arterial hypertension. How to take: Amprilan is taken orally. The initial dose is usually 1.25-2.5 mg once or twice daily. If necessary, the dose can be gradually increased. The maintenance dose is set individually, depending on the indications for use and the effectiveness of treatment. For elderly patients (over 65 years old), the initial dose is reduced to 1.25 mg per day. The maximum permissible daily dose for elderly patients is 2.5 mg. Contraindications: Amprilan is contraindicated in severe renal and hepatic impairment, bilateral renal artery stenosis or stenosis of the artery of a solitary kidney, as well as after kidney transplantation. Contraindications include primary hyperaldosteronism, hyperkalemia, aortic valve stenosis, pregnancy, and lactation (breastfeeding). The drug is not prescribed to children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Hypersensitivity to ramipril or other ACE inhibitors is also a contraindication.
