Use - Arterial hypertension (as monotherapy or in combination with other antihypertensive drugs). - Chronic heart failure (as part of combination therapy for patients taking cardiac glycosides and/or diuretics). - Early treatment of acute myocardial infarction (in patients with stable hemodynamic parameters within the first 24 hours for the prevention of left ventricular dysfunction and heart failure). - Diabetic nephropathy (for the treatment of kidney diseases in patients with arterial hypertension, type II diabetes mellitus and initial nephropathy). Contraindications The use of lisinopril during pregnancy is contraindicated. If pregnancy is established, the drug should be discontinued as early as possible. Lisinopril crosses the placental barrier. The use of ACE inhibitors in the second and third trimesters of pregnancy has an adverse effect on the fetus (possible severe blood pressure reduction, renal insufficiency, hyperkalemia, hypoplasia of the skull bones, intrauterine death).
