Contraindications - Hypersensitivity to valsartan, hydrochlorothiazide, or other sulfonamide derivatives; - Severe liver dysfunction (Child-Pugh score >9), biliary cirrhosis, cholestasis; - Severe renal impairment (GFR <30 ml/min/1.73 m2), anuria; - Refractory hypokalemia, hyponatremia, hypercalcemia; - Symptomatic hyperuricemia; - Concomitant use with aliskiren or aliskiren-containing preparations in patients with diabetes mellitus and/or moderate to severe renal impairment (GFR less than 60 ml/min/1.73 m2); - Pregnancy and planning of pregnancy; - Lactation (breastfeeding period); - Children under 18 years of age.
