Use - Arterial hypertension. - Ischemic heart disease (prevention of stable angina attacks). - Chronic heart failure. How to take - Orally. - Tablets should be taken with a small amount of liquid in the morning before breakfast, during or after it, once a day. - Dosage is individual. - The daily dose is 2.5-10 mg. - The maximum daily dose is 10 mg. - In severe liver or kidney dysfunction (creatinine clearance less than 20 ml/min), the dose of 10 mg/day should not be exceeded. - Do not abruptly discontinue bisoprolol; the course of treatment should be ended slowly with a gradual reduction in dosage. Contraindications - Hypersensitivity to bisoprolol or any of the components of the drug and other beta-blockers. - Acute heart failure. - Chronic heart failure in the decompensation stage, requiring intravenous inotropic therapy. - Cardiogenic shock. - AV block II and III degree, without a pacemaker. - Sick sinus syndrome. - Sinoatrial block. - Severe bradycardia (heart rate <60 bpm before therapy). - Severe arterial hypotension (systolic blood pressure <100 mmHg). - Collapse. - Cardiomegaly (without signs of heart failure). - Severe forms of bronchial asthma and COPD in history. - Severe peripheral circulatory disorders, Raynaud's syndrome. - Pheochromocytoma (without simultaneous use of alpha-blockers). - Metabolic acidosis. - Concomitant use of MAO inhibitors (except MAO type B). - Concomitant use of floctafenine, sultopride. - Concomitant intravenous administration of verapamil, diltiazem. - Age under 18 years (efficacy and safety not established). Storage - Store in the original packaging, at a temperature not exceeding 25degreeC. - Store out of reach of children. - Shelf life: Tablets 10 mg: 3 years. - Do not use after the expiration date.
