Sentor tablets 100mg №30

Use Centor is used to treat arterial hypertension (high blood pressure) and heart failure. How to take Centor tablets should be taken with a glass of water. The intake of the drug does not depend on food intake. Centor is taken once a day at the same time for all indications. - For arterial hypertension: The usual starting dose is 50 mg of losartan once daily. Depending on the blood pressure response, the dose may be increased to 100 mg once daily (in the morning). - For heart failure: The initial dose of losartan is usually 12.5 mg once daily. The dose is gradually increased at weekly intervals (e.g., 12.5 mg, 25 mg, 50 mg, 100 mg, and up to a maximum of 150 mg once daily), taking into account individual tolerability. Contraindications - Hypersensitivity to losartan or any other component of the drug. - Severe liver dysfunction. - Pregnancy or planning pregnancy. - Concomitant use with aliskiren-containing drugs in patients with diabetes mellitus or renal impairment (glomerular filtration rate less than 60 ml/minute/1.73 m2). - Lactose intolerance, as the tablets contain lactose monohydrate. - Not recommended for use in children.
